Unable to install Office SP3 on computers with a .MST Office insta

Hi,

Whenever I try to install Service Pack 3 on machines in my office it errors
out and says its unable to install. I have tried downloading the SP
separately and install it locally as opposed to over the internet and it
still errors out. I believe I'm having this problem because a custom-install
of Office was done on these machines through use of a .MST file. I didn't
setup the .MST file but I've been asked to find a viable workaround to get
SP3 on these machines.

So does anyone know of common problems and resolutions when trying to
install SP3 on a customized .MST install? Is there a setting or configuation
in the .MST File that is keeping it from installing? Any help is GREATLY
appreciated.
