a message appears: proplus.msi not available. Erreur: Code 8024002D
I have the same problem when I try to install "éditeur d'équations "on Word
2002.

Error Code: 0x8024002D
means - a full-file patch failed because the source was required

Insert the Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage Edition in the installation
drive and try the update.

Alternative, you could download the full files and try installing them.

I understand your interpretation but you know we've seen many people who are
understandably confused by Microsoft's habit of naming their products with
similar titles. He wouldn't be the first person who got Office XP confused
with Windows XP. His comment about not having the disc because *Windows* was
already installed is why I wanted to make sure he understood that the disc
was for Office, not Windows.

Basically it is Acer's problem. If the Office installation is not a trial you
should have some sort of restoration software. You would have paid extra for
your computer if Office was installed, albeit at a discount.

The Acer laptop came with Vista and Microsoft Office XP professional with
FrontPage. I am sure. It is an OEM version. So what is the problem.
