Unable to install Office XP

I attempted to install Microsoft Office XP Standard for
students and teachers on my Compaq 5500. I currently have
Windows XP. I followed the instructions inserted and ran
the 3 dics. Was told installation was complete. But its
not there. I tried this two times. HELP
