Unable to install OneNote 2003 demo

I've never used OneNote before, so forgive me if this topic has been
covered to death, but when attempting to install the OneNote 2003 demo I
get a "fatal installation" error. My research on the Web seems to point
to a problem with RAID HD setups, but a friend has RAID 0, as do I, and
runs it with no problem. The only difference between her system and
mine is that she has Office 2003 and I have Office XP (2002). Any
advice would be greatly appreciated.
