Unable to install second part of Office Installer

Sandy

Hello,
I just installed the trial version of office professional 2007 (I had 2003).
This is a vista machine, and the first exe file installed find and all the
office products have been updated. When I try to run the second file
(X13-40150.exe), it craps out saying that it can't install SQL 2005. I have
rebooted, made sure outlook and sql services were not running, but I still
get the same error. This install file upgrades the business contact manager,
which is the main thing I want to try for 2007. Does anyone know what the
problem could be? It doesn't say why, it just says that it could not be
installed and installation cannot continue. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sandy,

In the list of installed programs in the Windows control panel check to see if the 2003 version of Business Contact Manager has been
uninstalled before installing the 2007 version. You may also want to follow-up in the Business Contact Manager discussion group
through the link below.

Ok, I can try that. I do not see business contact manager in the add/remove
list, nor was it there with 2003, so I'm not sure if it's just not showing up
or not. I will post to the other group as well.

I am still unable to install the second CD for Office Pro 2007. I do not
see anything for office 2003 in the list of installed programs. Does anyone
have any other suggestions on what I can do to get BCM installed?
