Hi,
I have Windows Vista 32-ibit Home Premium edition.
I had Microsoft office Enterprise 2007 installed and working fine. My virus
scanner could not scan osetup.dll and I was advised to uninstall Office and
then reinstall.
I could not uninstall using Programs & Features in the control panel (it
keeps crashing - subject to a different question). So I asked for help and
used Windows install Cleanup to remove all Office items. Then used Regedit
to delete the keys. Then deleted the Office folder.
I now can't reinstall Office - it stalls and then crashess the system while
setting up.
So I checked something - in C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared -
Office12 is still there - should that not have gone when I unistalled it?
There is also an Office11 folder. is that an issue?
I have run a virus scan for every folder EXCEPT office12 as it still crashes
when I try to scan that folder.
I REALLY wnat Office back - what do you suggest?
Help!
