unable to load pages

Got a weird problem here

Suddenly word 2003 won't open pages
I can see the docs and click on them, but get
message "unable to find file"

I can click on them in explorer and word
opens and gives me the same message

I found a message here about
running winword /r, but that didn't help

is ther another fix for this problem
