unable to move pictures where I want!

I wanted to know if we can fix the following problem with Powerpoint
2004 for mac (which didn't happen in previous versions): when you move
a picture with your mouse on a slide, a shadow/transparent version of
the picture that you're moving appears, which is supposed to help you
define the place where you want to move the picture. But when you drop
the picture, it nevers ends up at the position of the transparent
version, which really is a pain in the neck!!

can I fix that?

Have you installed the update to Office? Use the Help menu to check for
updates.
