HELP:
About 3 months agao, we brought a Access db file home from another
computer running Office 2003 and used our Office 2002 to open it in
Access which it did just fine.
The other day, we went to open that SAME file but get this error now:
"THE DATABASE IS AN UNRECOGNIZED FORMAT: The database may have been
created with a later version of Microsoft Access than the one you are
using. Upgrade your version of Microsoft Access to the current one,
then this database."
I suspect it may be a patch we put on both of these computers recently
that allowed us to read Office 2007 documents. Has anyone else dealt
with these sort of shenanigans and if so is there a known work-around?
TIA - Richard
