Unable to open any Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 application

Hi,

We installed Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 lately. Now we are not able to
open any application on my profile. When I click on the icon Outlook for
example, it looks like it's starting (also Task manager shows me that), but
then immediately stops again before even opening any window. And the same
happens for any other applications. Now for the other profile we have setup
on our computer, Microsoft Office Enterprise works without any issues, every
single application can be started.

I tried re-installing, changing access to folders, etc. but can't figure out
how to fix this issue.

Can somebody help please. Thanks a lot.

Since it is Office 2007 Enterprise , I suggest that you call the IT person at the place or Company from where you purchased that version of Office. They are the ones that can help you with the Office Enterprise Edition

Hi,
Thanks for the quick answer, very appreciated.

But ultimately I think it's not a problem with Microsoft Office itself, but
just with profile settings. Would you maybe know how I could find out if
there are any restrictions for my profile or whether the path to open the
Office from my profile is not correct?

Cheers,
Marcel

Those are exactly the questions that a competent IT department should be able
to answer for you, and if the answer is "your profile is screwed up" or "you
don't have access/permissions for this" then they should be able to fix it.
These days it really pays to take the Sys Admin to lunch once in a while :)

I suppose you have uninstalled/reinstalled while logged in locally as
Administrator correct? If you have and still have no success then you could
remove your profile and recreate it.
