Unable To open any Office Files, (Word Excel etc) And Normal.dot E

I am completly unable to open any word, excel, powerpoint, etc file, I am
greeted with an error to this effect:

When I am Closing Word, I am greeted with this error:

http://www.johnami.com/123/error.jpg

I have tried reinstalling office several times, and have ran regestry
cleaners with office uninstalled.

I have tried reinstalling antivirus programs, and removing all antivirus
programs from my computer.

I am sure there is some file somewhere, which is making office "remember"
this problem when I uninstall it, however I have been unable to find this
assumed file.

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated, as I do not want to reformat my
entire computer over an office program.

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office programs with
the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in" for more info. If you already
uninstalled Norton and the problem persists, then the Office Plugin from
Norton could still be registered in Windows even if you have uninstalled
Norton. Search for the OFFICEAV.DLL file on the hard drive (include system
and hidden files/folders). If you find it, note the folder where it is
located, and use the "regsvr32 /u" method described in KB329820 to unregister
the DLL.
