unable to open clip gallery

I can't open the clip gallery in word or powerpoint. I've
tried restarting several times. The window itself is not
opening. Computer goes through process of opening window
then it never shows up. started right after i got done
importing images from the web into the gallery. Any insight
would help. e-mail if possible.

Hi Nicole,

It's difficult to give you proper advice without knowing your OS and Office
version numbers. Please always post this information in the future!

Things to try, depending on your versions:

1) Repair disk permissions (using OS X's Disk Utility). If you're in OS 9,
rebuild the desktop.

2) Trash the Clip Gallery User Database. Depending on your version, it
should be in your Microsoft Office folder.

3) Check for extension conflicts. One user (in Word 2001) cured the
problem by removing an extension called Cinstall.

If all else fails, you may have to uninstall and reinstall Office. Before
you try that, post back with your version numbers so we can give you the
right instructions to follow.
