Unable to open db - URGENT

When trying to open the database the following message appears:

"the database needs to be repaired or isn't a database file'

It asks to repair "Yes" or "No", click "Yes" and NOTHING happens

Can anyone help

check there isnt a locked file of the database open in the sam
directory, or check if the database is open somewhere. If it is no
open anywhere else delete the lock file (.ldb) and the database shoul
repair itself
