Unable to open document saved in Outlook 2007 as HTML document

I have created a folder called MS email in my documents folder to save
certain Outlook 2007 messages which have been saved in the default file
selection of HTML document. Now if I try to open these file folders in my MS
email folder I see three files: colorschememapping, file list and themedata,
none of which I can read. Can someone please help to explain how I can open
these documents so it can be read? Thanks,
Gary

To save them to the file system, you must save them as .msg files which you
can then open and read.

Hello Milly: Thank you for the reply to my question. I am unable to find a
method to save either the colorschememapping or file list documents which are
listed as XML documents. Therefore if I right click these two files the save
as option is not available. If I try to open the documents I get this message
"This file does not have a program associated with for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel". I know
about the Control panel, but have no idea what is required to set
associatons. So at this point I am still baffled at how to proceed.
