A client of ours is using Excel 2000 and he sends that file as an attachment
using Netscape Email and we receive it on Lotus Notes. If we try to open the
file, we get the message "The File is not in a recognizable format". If we
click "OK", then there are sum junk characters in the worksheet.
Interestingly, if I click on "File/Save As" for this file, the file save as
type is defaulted to *.txt. Is there any solution to this problem? Has anyone
experienced this earlier? Please help.
