unable to open forms

HI EXPERTS
Seeking your help at the moment. i am working for Siemens and entirely
new access. i have a excel sheet which has more than 2000 rows
segregated into 8 columns. Have linked tat table to access form. while
trying to update those details into forms I am success full. but when i
save and re open the form. it notifies me to many fields defined. When I
checked with the help option it says me "Too many fields defined. (Error
3190)
You tried to perform an operation that involves more than 255 fields.
Reduce the number of fields, and then try the operation again'. Some
one helps me out of this one. I can send the documents for your
reference. Please do provide me your mail id if any one is interested

How did you do any 'update those details into forms' without first saving
the form?
