hi,
i have a mde/mdb Access 2000 application in a network environment. i can
read/write/update with no problems from all .mde to the one backend .mdb.
Now what puzzles me is that Jet Engine complain that someone has exclusive
lock or view data permission issues if i were to delete some data from the
..mdb file, and then try to open from another PC that access the .mdb file.
It was ok (ie., can delete data from .mdb) when it was running on Win NT/98.
But when i ported over to a all Win XP Pro SP2, i can no longer delete data
from the .mdb without getting a security issue. Any help or direction is
much appreciated.
