I was sent a Publisher file as an email application. I tried to open it with
my Publisher 2000 version but it would not recognize it as a Publisher
document at all so I figured that it was probably created with a newer
version that was not backward compatible.
I went to the Microsoft Website thinking that I might buy the upgrade but I
saw there was a 60-day Trial Version of Publisher 2007 so I decided to give
that a try first. Well, it opened the file just fine but it will not let me
do any editing of the file. Is this supposed to happen? Does the trial
version only work with publications that I create from scratch?
