Unable to open Office 97

Hi there,
My problem is my copy of Office 97 was installed by the retailer who did not
give me my copy of the CD.
After my PC developed faults, I returned it to the retailer who repaired the
faults but left me unable to start Office 97.
Windows ME explorer shows me that I still have MS Office installed but I
have no shortcuts and I can't start the program.
How can I find my product ID and/or start to use MS Office again?

This is a dodgy retailer. Suggest if you need/want Office you buy copy
(from another retailer). Office 97 not sold anymore (except used).
Office 2003 is current. YOu can also consider the free office software
called OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org.
