Unable to open or edit Org Charts in office 97.

Hi recently my PC has been coming up with an error when I open Or charts.
..opx files. And I am also unable to edit charts within my MS word documents.

When I click to open or edit the charts I get the message:

"Word cannot edit the MS Orgganization Chart 2.0."

I have tried running a repair on my MS Office 97 Proffessional edition to no
avail.
And also tried a full reinstall.
Upon a custom install I am selecting Office Tools -> Organization Charts to
be installed.
I have also tried upgrading to Office 2000 and Office 2003 without success.
I have tried different charts and get the same error with those too.

I really need to be able to edit these charts.

Can anyone help please?
