Unable to open Outlook

Don

I just loaded Microsoft XP Professional onto my computer.
All programs run fine except Outlook. When I try to open
outlook a window pops up that says "Unable to open your
default e-mail folders. Could not open the item. Try
again" The only choice is "OK" After clicking on OK, a
second window pops up that says "Would you like to open
your default File System folder instead?" The choices
are "Yes" or "No". Clicking "No" ends the program.
Clicking "Yes" takes me to "My Computer".

My Outlook Express still works fine. Can anyone help me
with what should I do to open Outlook?

.Don, I'm having exactly the same issue, but when I
tried to reply to you directly, guess what, same error
message. Hope we both get a reply to this! Thanks, Eric
