My hard drive died and on a fresh install on a new hard drive with WinXP Pro
SP3, I installed MS Office Pro 2003 SP3 but I can't open Outlook. I first get
this message "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable.
Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Then it asks
for the MS Exchange server and Mailbox names but I don't connect through a MS
Exchange server. I click OK and I get "Unable to open default e-mail folders.
The information store could not be opened." Then it closes. I seem to
remember that I had the exact problem when I first installed MS Office 4
years ago but don't remember how I got around this to set up my POP3
accounts. Any thoughts?
