Unable to open password protected personal folder outlook.pst

I had to reinstall Office 2000 and Outlook 2000 on my desktop running Window Me. However I am unable to open my previous personal folder file outlook.pst which was password protected and do not remember the password setup 2 years ago

How can I reset the password in order to open my previous Outlook.pst file?

the second step to convert back from .psx to .pst did not work. Anybody has anymore suggestions to open a password protected personal folder dile in Outlook 2000?
