Unable to open PDF in web browser

diogenes

I've updated to the latest adobe reader and changed it to my default reader
(previously used adobe acrobat), but when I try to open a link to a pdf when
I'm online, I get a message that I cannot open it in the web browser.
Does anyone know why and how to correct this?

check you IE explorer options

Tools - Internet Options - Programs - Manage Add-Ins

Disable Adobe Acrobat (or delete).

When you uupdated adobe the IE explorer didn't get updated. You ma
also need to delete the cookies.

Tools - Internet Options - Browsing History - Delete

Remove the Temporary internet files and coookies.

The IR explorer doesn't always reload web pages to save time. It use
the history folder to retrieve recently used files

You're asking in the wrong place, Diogenes (though there are in fact some
honest men here <g>)...

This forum is for the Microsoft database program Microsoft Access. You'll need
to get help in an Adobe forum, or one supporting your web browser.
