Unable to open presentation stored on Time Capsule

I am using my Time Capsule as a storage area so that the data can be accessed by multiple computers. I copied a number of files, including Powerpoint presentations, to my work area on the Time Capsule.

The Word documents open without a problem but if I try and open the presentations Powerpoint says it cannot open them. I can quick look the files without a problem. If I copy the files on to my local hard drive then the problem goes away and the files are opened without an issue.

This problem only appears to have started after the last update as I have previously been able to open presentations on the network drive. I installed the update a few days ago.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Have you Repaired Disk Permissions since updating - may or may not make a
difference but it certainly can't hurt :)
