Have been working on a website on a pc (Win ME) and laptop Winxp) now I
cannot access it on the pc (laptop still ok) when I try to open it I get the
following error message: the server extensions were unable to access the file
"frontpg.lck" Please check the file permissions. Other website I work on
using the same extensions are OK. What have I done?

If it is not a server based site you are opening
- Find and delete that file on your pc

No, it is server based and is acting correctly on the web. I can open it on
my laptop but not on the pc when I get the error message.

Hi Stefan, Actually solved it... I looked up an old post with a similar(but
not the same) problem and it was suggested that a program called fp cleaner
was downloaded and the temp and cached files were removed. - don't know what
the problem was but it did the trick. If you have any ideas for the cause
then let me know so I don't do it again! thanks.

Hi Hifni,

I downloaded a utility by Steve Easton called Fp Cleaner from the following
website: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm

It did the trick!
