Unable to open your default e-mail folders

The following message pops up when trying to open Outlook.
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders File access is denied. You do
not have the permission required to access the file C:documents and
Settings\Lisa\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst."

We bought a new pc; I wanted to transfer my wife's .pst file to it. While
on the Outlook folder the .pst file didn't show. With the Outlook folder
highlighted I right clicked the mouse, choose properties and incorrectly
choose the Hidden Attributes. I now realized to be able to view hidden files
I should have gone through the Tools Menu, then Folder Options to be able to
see hidden files.
