Unable to open your default email folders.

I am getting this message using Office 2000 for the first time. I have found
many suggestions for fixing this online and all of them reference an option I
do not have. I can not access the Options tab under Tools. Need assistance.

Create a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->show
profiles->new. Do not copy your old one - it is corrupt. Configure the new
profile to re-use your .pst file.

Appreciate the help, but running Windows XP and do not see a Mail Icon in
Control Panel.??

Switch to Classic View of Control Panel.
