Unable to place new items on Calendar

I have a user on Windows XP and Office XP that is unable
to add a new calendared event to his calendar. As soon as
he clicks Save and Close in the calendar item, he gets the
message about Outlook has encountered a problem, sorry for
the inconvenience. When I view the details of the error,
it references mso.dll

All Office XP Service Pack 3 has been applied.

I would appreciate any assistance in getting this matter
resolved immediately.

Have you tried removing Outlook XP and reinstalling it
again?

However before that:

Check the users calendar properties and select Permission
level to Author, apply changes.

I have completely removed Outlook XP and re-installed it
and get the same result. I'll check the permision level.
Thanks!

Did changing the Permissions work? If not go to Help in
Outlook and try a Detect and Repair. Let me know the
outcome.
