Unable to print document on one page

I have a 30 page Office 2007 spreadsheet that I want to print as one page on
a 24 x 48 size paper from a plotter printer - model # 1055 (HP). It will
leave the print queue but will not print on the plotter.

I do have a mixture of shaded cells and frozen panes. The text is wrapped
and I have merge and center functions set up through out the document. I'm
trying to rule out the excel spreadsheet.

Anyone ever heard of this problem. Feel free to ask more questions. Not sure
what else I can add but I will try.

First Excel spreadsheets don't have pages. Has the plotter been set as
the default printer before you open the workbook? What is the Default
page size on the plotter set to? (should be your 24X48) What does print
preview look like? Did you Set the Print area to only select the area in
question? Then adjust the Page setup Scale to fit the "image" on the Paper.

Ok..first of all what I meant by pages is that when you print this document
on 8 1/2 x 11 paper it will print 30 individual sheets of paper and I need it
to print as one page on the 24 x 48 paper.

And yes everything you asked of me I have done. Print preview looks like 1
of 1 page and I went into page set up and selected fit the image and it will
go through the print queue but get hung up on the plotter printer. After a
few seconds, the failed to print message comes up in the sys tray.

Then there is something the plotter driver isn't handling. I suggest
getting the latest version from HP and installing that. Then try your
plot. If that doesn't fix it, you may try plotting to Adobe Acrobat or
another PDF printer and then plotting that file to 24x48. The down side
to that is the text and lines don't come out as sharp.
