Unable to print flowcharts in Excel and Word since installing Visi

I have Visio 2003. I have been unable to print flowcharts sent to me via
Excel or Word since installing Visio 2003. The process boxes, decision
boxes, etc... print, but the text within the boxes do not. Have tried
multiple options with no luck. Any suggestions? If flowchart sent in
original Visio format then it will print.
