unable to print html email messages

Hello,

We are having problems printing html email messages with Outlook 2000.
Plain and rich text messages print correctly. On several PCs, when we
print html email messages it will only print the message header and I
believe any footer information on the printed page. If we set Word to
be the default email editor we can click on forward in the email so the
messages opens up in Word. Once it is opened in Word, it will print
correctly from Word.

The PCs that are being problematic have a broad spectrum of
configurations. This problem has occurred on Windows 2000, Windows XP
Pro SP1, and Windows XP Pro SP2. IE versions have ranged from 5.5, 6.0,
6.0 SP1 and the new IE in XP SP2. We have downloaded and installed all
of the Office and IE updates. I have checked that is not a problem with
printing background images (I have enabled printing background images
from within the options of IE). It happens with Office 2000, 2000 SP1
and 2000 SP3.

We have tried setting people as power users and even as local
administrators but unfortunately it didn't help.

Some additional information, this problem seems to be PC specific and
it effects ALL users of the PC. It hasn't yet followed a roaming
profile user so what ever is causing it isn't getting loaded to their
profile.

I have searched the Internet and tried quite a few things that have
been suggested in a variety of websites and newsgroups. So far nothing
has worked to resolve this problem other than the work around of the
extra click to forward the messages and then click print so it will
print from within Word instead of Outlook.

On a side note, I have seen similar posts in the past but no responses.

Any suggestions?

Frank,

Unfortunately I haven't had any luck with this problem yet other than the
work around I described in my original post. I wish I could help you further
but I'm still in the same boat myself.
