Unable to print

I'm running Office V.X on a dp g4 with 2 gigs of memory and a 160G hd.
The printer is a LJ2100N with an IP connection.

Tonight, after printing correctly this morning, I cannot print anything
from Excel.

When I try to print, the alert goes off and the print spooler does
nothing. The same thing happens when I try to print using an HP 1220c
connected by USB.

Other Office applications print normally as do other generic
applications.

I opened the spreadsheet that I was attempting to print in Office 2001
and it prints normally with classic.

Ideas?

latest additions.

I had similar with LJ1300n

Go to print center and delete the 2100
Then add it again.

You upgrde any software since it stopped working?
