Unable to read unread calender item

I have a (1) after Calender in my folder view. I have deleted every item in my calender and removed all the filters but it remains. Any ideas, thanks in advance

I should add that I have tried right clicking and "mark all as read" and viewed the calender by catogory which tells me "There are no items to show in this view

I'm not sure if this works for this particular issue, but you might try
starting Outlook once with the /ResetFolders switch and see if that clears
the erroneous unread items indicator. If you need help using Outlook
command line switches, look here:
