Unable to read with MS Word 95

[Lilly]

I have MS Word 95. I normally would read other
peoples .doc file using MS Word 95 inconjunction with
OpenOffice software. I have been having problem
reading .doc files recently. I get error message tht says
WINWRD has caused stack fault at WINWRD862.CNV at



Anyone can help me with this. I want to be able to read
all .doc files using MS Word.
Please!!!

Hi Lilly,

What operating system are you using? If using Windows XP make sure you
do not have Compatibility options set for winword.exe.
