I have a similar problem. To try to diagnose, my ISP
people helped me trace an e-mail that I sent to myself but
never received. They reported that the e-mail was received
by the e-mail server (ISP controlled) but never retrieved
by Outlook. They helped me to retrieve it by using another
internet based e-mail client.
They said that it happens randomly with Outlook. They did
not know if there was any fix. In the meantime, they
showed me a workaround and suggested that from time to
time, I should use the internet based e-mail client
(squirrelmail) to check up on un-retrieved e-mail.
Does anybody else have an answer?
