Hi
I am able to send email thru my server but am NOT able to receive any.
I have disabled my virus scanner software and my firewall but still
unable to do so. SSL and SPA are not used by the server nor are they
check in my config for the account.
Telnet to SMTP server (ie port 25) works and am able to EHLO and send
mail from command line. However, telnet to POP3 (ie port 110) does not
respond at all and times out returning me to the command prompt.
Doing the same test on other machines from the same network drop works
for both SMTP and POP3 but from my laptop does not.
I get the following when I click the "Test Account Settings" button in
outlooks account config tab:
Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The specified server was found,
but the was no response from the server. Please verify that the port
and SSL information is correct. To access these settings...
Anyone experienced this before?
Thanks
