unable to receive emails outlook 2003

I have been having a problem with receiving emails on outlook 2003 (small
business version) for a few weeks now, I went through all the troubleshooting
(smpt, pop settings, test message) etc. everything works and the emails
arrive in my box on yahoo but when I do the send/receive in outlook, I get
the 50% 74% receiving notification in the lower right corner, but then a
send/receive error message and nothing comes through. I am able to send from
there.
I called the internet service provider and they too walked me through and
came up with the conclusion that the inbox is corrupt. Any help? if it is
corrupt, what can I do to correct the problem, thanks in advance.

You need to post the exact err msg.
In the mean time run a Detect/Repair of outlook.
With Outlook closed, locate scanpst.exe, the repair tool and run it on your
data file (Default name outlook.pst)
Also if you have antivirus intergrated with outlook that can cause problems

thanks, Ok, I have 3 email accounts through Yahoo that linked to outlook, the
three error messages were Ox80040900 (receiving error), Ox800CCCOF
(connection interrupted) and Ox800CCC90 (internal error), all pointing to ISP
issues, but again, I walked through their instructions before to no avail

also, sorry, but how do I "locate scanpst.exe and run on data file",
stepwise please.
i am the 'computers for dummies' type, thanks again,
