Unable to reformat date navigator

B

B Johnson

Two things that I am becoming increasingly frustrated with in Outlook 2003:

1) I am unable to display the date navigator calendars in any way other
than side-by-side. I can resize the navigation pane horizontally, but don't
seem to be able to do anything vertically.

2) The date/year at the top of each calendar has changed format from "mmmm
yyyy" to "mm yyyy". How/Where do I change the format.

1. What happens when you try dragging vertically? I can display 12 months
of information doing this.
2. Your date display is set by your Long Date Format accessed from Control
Panel, Regional Settings. What did you change there?

1. Unable to drag vertically at all. Where exactly is the drag handle? The
horizontal "handle" that I am referring to is the border between the
navigation pane and the display pane.

2. Ok. I fixed the date settings. Thank you very much. Previously was
using Outlook 2000 and upgraded to 2003, perhaps it occurred during the
update.

The drag handle is at the bottom of the Date Navigator. Hover your mouse
until you see the double arrows.

1. are you displaying the calendars on the left or right? the left side is
not resizable - you need to use a higher resolution to get vertical
calendars (or have fewer calendar folder links and don't show views). The
right side (when task pad is displayed) is resizable.
