I am unable to save a command in the Word, Excel or Outlook 2007 quick access
tool bar every time I login. It is fine when I close the application.

I am using a roaming profile. I verified that my settings for Outlook have
not changed. That way I know that my profile is working fine. The user in
question is a basic user rights.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you. ....Walter

Hi Walter,

Roaming for MS Office 2007 Quick Access Toolbars are not supported ordinarily. There are a couple of workarounds including using a
login script to copy the *.qat files into place.

Hi Walter,

If you prefer to not use a vbscript or batch file
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc194412.aspx
to copy you can contact Microsoft Product Support and let them know you're asking for the Quick Access Toolbar Roaming solution.
Please post back with the steps, method you choose and how it worked for you.

It is possible to include QAT sections in documents and templates as well as as standa alone .QAT files, and use that as a work
around, but it's not too difficult to have those break as well as it can rely on the user remembering to modify the right QAT part
and/or disabling the ability to modify the QAT.

Bob,
Thank you for your response. Sounds like I am out of luck. This is only
when the users work offsite via terminal services. In the office they do not
have this issue. Do you know where I can find this mentioned at Microsoft
site? I just found this through Google
http://blogs.msdn.com/microsoft_office_word/archive/2007/02/06/word-2007-s-new-ui-the-ribbon.aspx

I am wondering if Microsoft is going to fix this in the coming monthly
updates?

Thank you. Walter >>
