Unable to save file

I have opened an Excel file on the network but unable to
save. It will auto save to a temp file. Any idea why the
system is prompting "Unable to save". For your info, I
have use the same version of Excel 2000.

Hi Anthony,

If you have been able to save to this location in the past, then your
network administrator has probably changed the permissions on this file
share. In order to open and save an existing Excel file to a network share,
you must have read, write, and delete permissions to that share. Check with
your network folks and make sure that this is the case.
