For several days now have I been unable to add new appointments to my Outlook
2007 Calendar. Invariably there is a message "Out of memory or system
resources. Close some windows or programs and try again" (no specific error
code).
This happens even when only Outlook is open and in spite of sufficient
memory (3 GB plus 4 GB paging file; pst files take up only 25 MB) and empty
MS Office clipboard. Rebooting, repairing MS Office, and doing a full
uninstall and re-install of Outlook didn't help.
Everything else seems to be working fine. It is also possible to copy and
paste appointments, and even to edit existing ones. Just adding new
appointments is not possible, which is quite a nuisance. Does anyone have an
idea what I could try next to resolve this issue?
