Unable to save project to Project Server 2007

I have recently installed Project Server 2007, completed configuration
for Moss 2007 and Project Web Acces works fine. But when i try to save
a project or an activity using Project Professional 2007 or PWA I get
the following error message

GeneralUnhandledException Error Id 42

Any help about this problem is very much appreciated.
