Unable to save width chnages to columns in Project Server 2007

My user has created his own view separate from the Enterprise in order to
save some customizations that he wants. We are able to save his color
changes, height changes to the columns but, we are unable to save the width
changes to the columns. This worked in 2003. Any help is appreciated.
