I am using Outlook 2007 on my laptop and outlook 2003 on my desktop.
I have 3 email accounts; 1 is a POP account; 2 are IMAP accounts.
On my laptop when I click on inbox for one of my IMAP accounts I get 2
windows pop up - one says "The messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. If the problem persists restart Outlook"; the other says "Failed to
update headers". No messages show in the inbox even though I know there are
messages, some opened, some new.
On my desktop I can see messages fine; The POP account works fine on the
laptop and I can also see messages on the laptop in Thunderbird etc.
I have tried to delete are recreate the IMAP accounts. This solves the
problem for a while but once I close outlook and then reopen the problem
recurs.
Any ideas? Thanks
