A few days ago I began having problems with selecting an e-mail account when
creating a new message or trying to reply to a message from a different
account (I have 4 e-mail accounts.) I can receive mail fine, but when
replying it will only go from my default account.
When I open a new e-mail and try to select the account I want to send it
from, I get a pop-up error message that says: "Unable to complete the
operation. A fatal error has occurred in Outlook." The very top of the box
says "Microsoft Word."
This began happening not too long after I had an e-mail stuck in my Outbox.
I have done the following:
- Created a new profile (had to do this get the stuck e-mail out)
- Tried to repair Outlook using 'Detect and Repair' under the help menu.
- Tried to repair using the installation disk.
- Uninstalled Office 2003 and then reinstalled the entire thing.
- Deleted all my e-mail addresses from Outlook and then put them in as new
addresses again.
Help! I don't know what else to try!
