Unable to Select Any Drop Cap Format

I am unable to select any drop cap format in my publication. I'm using it to
create a booklet fold book. In the first chapter, I was able to select and
apply a drop cap - a style I want to repeat on subsequent chapters. However,
when I go to chapter 2, select the first letter and try to apply a drop cap,
the Available Drop Cap box is completely blank. If I try to create a custom
drop cap, it allows me to format to my heart's content, but it will NOT show
up in my publication.

Any thoughts?

If you indent your story the Drop Cap is not available.
What version Publisher are you using?

2003, SP 3. I thought the indent might be an issue, so I tried removing it.
I've even used the Ctrl+ Space and Ctrl + Q to remove any directly applied
character formatting. Still won't allow the drop cap. The good news is that
it's only happening in Chapter 2 - all others are working fine.

Well, I guess that's good news ....
