Unable to Select Controls in Design View

Hello all,

I just started working with MS Access 2007 and am unable to select
individual control objects in design view in a form.

When I click on an individual control (in this case, text boxes) a yellow
margin appears around the object and any changes I make to the object
happens to all other objects that are above and below it. No handles
appear around the object as pictured in the manual.

The table I created has around 30 fields. When I created the form the
fields appeared, in the detail section,as two columns of text box controls
with their labels.

Help!

Don't run 2007, but I do know that this is the Default Behavior in AFH
(Access From Hell!) You have to disassociate the controls to handle them
individually. I'm sure someone who does use 07 will come along and tell you
the exactly how! YOu might try something simple like querying Help for
something like

format controls
