Unable to send email due to admin prohibition 550

Hi

I have recently installed a wireless network with router,
and can no longer sent emails via by email provider
Freeserve.

On sending, I get the error message "Neil Matthews (Neil
Matthews) on 26/11/2003 22:56 550 Administrative
prohibition". this is with Outlook XP.

Trying the same with outlook express, I get the error
message "The message could not be sent because one of the
recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-
mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'.
Subject 'email test', Account: 'pop.freeserve.com',
Server: 'smtp.freeserve.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '550 Administrative prohibition', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
0x800CCC79"

Any ideas on the cause?

Thanks for your help

Neil

You need to set your outgoing server to authenticate before sending mail.
Look on the server tab of your account settings.
