Unable to send mail using Entourage for Mac - Error 5554

Using Intel Mac with OS X 10.4.8.
Suddenly unable to send IMAP mail using Entourage X for MAC.
Same IMAP settings (SMTP, IMAP, Ports) work using Apple Mail.

The Error Message is 5554.
Explanation is: "Mail error. The server did not understand the
request."

I have rebuilt the Entourage Database.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
